Use Business Plan with your AI

Business Plan has no AI you must use. Your own AI, Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, works with a plan through Geenius OS, on every plan: it builds the model from your answers, writes the sections with placeholders for figures, runs the truth guard and exports Markdown. You confirm the numbers.

Connect it#

Add Business Plan to your Geenius OS workspace and connect your AI to Geenius OS once, by the steps in the Geenius OS docs. Your AI then has a tool called geenius_bizplan.

A first ask

Use Geenius OS and Business Plan. I run a bicycle repair shop for commuters in Utrecht. Start a model from the shop template for NL, tell me which numbers you need from me, and write nothing with a figure until I have confirmed them.

Your AI creates the model, lists what is open, and waits for your numbers.

Habits that work#

Ask what is open first. plan_model_read with view open lists every cell still marked for you.
Write placeholders. {{pl.revenue.Y1}}, never typed digits.
Check often. plan_content_check lists figures that do not match and sections that are missing.
Keep the revision. Edits can name the revision they read, so two writers do not overwrite each other.

What your AI cannot do#

It cannot make a figure up: the truth guard refuses it. It cannot confirm an owner's numbers for them or finalise a plan with open inputs. It cannot export a DOCX: the export is PDF and Markdown.
